Jacob Tazzi, DC

Location: Albion

Dr. Jacob Tazzi is a licensed Chiropractor serving the Albion, Concord, Homer, Jackson, Marshall, Olivet, Parma, and Springport areas.

Dr. Tazzi grew up in New Baltimore, MI. After graduating from Anchor Bay High School, he went on to complete his Bachelor of Science degree from Gannon University in Erie, PA while achieving All-American Honors in wrestling.

Dr. Tazzi gained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA where he continued his high achieving standards in academics graduating Salutatorian with Summa Cum Laude honors. During his time at Palmer, Dr. Tazzi traveled to Hyderabad, India where he and fellow colleagues provided chiropractic care to underprivileged individuals.

It was also at Palmer where he was directed to Dr. Kirk A Lee as an excellent mentor for Chiropractic. After meeting Dr. Lee, he was given the opportunity to come to Albion to work while completing his final clinical hours for Palmer. His time in Albion has truly been a life-changing experience. Despite his unexpected and sudden loss of a great mentor and friend, the Albion community has welcomed Dr. Tazzi with open arms and he has formed a bond with Albion. He and his wife, Dr. Kathryn, intend on calling this unique and caring small-town home for many years to come.

Jarrett Benaway, DC

Location: Jackson

Dr. Jarrett Benaway is a graduate of Palmer College in Iowa. He spent his time at Palmer learning a variety of techniques and treatments including the Palmer Package of adjustments, Thompson, SOT, Activator, DNS, and McKenzie.

Dr. Benaway is also certified in Webster Technique for pregnancy, a Certified Graston Technique Practitioner, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dr. Benaway was born and raised in Midland, MI where he attended Midland High School. He then attended Saginaw Valley State University where he earned his Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science, before moving to Davenport, Iowa and attending Palmer College where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic.

Dr. Benaway has many interests including kayaking, hiking, weight lifting, watching football and spending time with his family, friends, and animals.

Carolina da Mata, DC

Location: Jackson

Dr. Carolina da Mata, was born and raised in Brazil. After graduating from high school, she decided to come to the USA and practice her English. She fell in love with the country, people, and culture which prompted her to move here permanently and has been here since 2009.

After visiting many places, she decided that Michigan was home. She graduated from Pre-Med and soon after started Chiropractic School. In 2020, she graduated from Texas Chiropractic College, earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After spending some time in the hot state of Texas, she and her family decided to move back home to Michigan.

Dr. Carol speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Her specialty is pregnancy and pediatrics but she is passionate and loves taking care of all her patients. She is FAKTR and Webster certified and a proud member of the ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association).

Sydney Stanul, DC

Location: Albion

Dr. Sydney Stanul grew up in Jenison, MI in the bustling suburbs of Grand Rapids. Growing up, she was always active in her youth group at church and services in high school to help her community and even communities far away in other states or countries.

She discovered through these acts of service that she wanted a career in helping people but wasn't sure where that path would lead her. Having some success in the sciences, Doctor Sydney seemed like the right way to go, but where to go from there?

She decided on Ferris State University to be close to home and family, receiving her Bachelors in Biology there. Giving it a lot of thought and research, she decided that chiropractic was the perfect field to utilize her biology, hands on, and service-oriented skills.

All signs pointed to Palmer College of Chiropractic as the best choice for her education and once enrolled, her joy for biology and service grew as she learned more about what chiropractic truly means and how helping people heal with your own two hands is one of the most wonderful feelings you can experience.

Monish Patel, DC

Location: Eaton Rapids

Dr. Monish Patel is originally from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. After graduating high school in Toronto, he attended Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI having attained an Associate's Degree.

He later attended New York Chiropractic College (N.Y.C.C) for his Bachelor's Degree in Professional Studies and Doctorate in Chiropractic degrees.

Dr. Patel is passionate about helping patients achieve their lifelong goals by using the body's natural healing ability. He is certified in Whole Food Nutrition, and Foot Levelers which he uses to help treat his patients. He is also certified in soft tissue techniques, including: ConnecTX and Graston Techniques.

Dr. Patel practices using Diversified Techniques, Activator, McKenzie Technique, and Flexion Distraction and he has proficiency in adjusting patients from newborns all the way to our geriatric population.
